Does it help with prayers while traveling or flying?
Yes. Travel mode notices when you've likely travelled and shows which prayers you can shorten (qasr) and combine (jam') following your madhab, while prayer times and the Qibla follow your destination. A dedicated flight planner maps your route so you know exactly which prayers fall due mid-air.
Can I search for a dua in my own words?
Yes. Describe your situation naturally and My Amaal finds a fitting supplication from Hisn al-Muslim, the Qur'an, and the authentic collections — each with its Arabic, transliteration, translation, and authenticity grading. The match runs entirely on your device.
What happens to my streak during menstruation?
My Amaal has a gentle menstruation mode. When you mark your period, the five daily prayers are lifted for those days, prayer and Wudu reminders quieten, and — because these days are excused — your streak is safely bridged rather than broken. Does it work offline?
Your prayer logs, streaks, Wudu status, the how-to-pray guide, your daily dhikr, and the full Qur'an work without a connection. The dua match runs entirely on your device. Prayer times and the Qibla use your location.
How accurate is the Qibla compass?
It calculates a true-north Qibla bearing from your location and uses your device's compass, with a calibration prompt when the sensor needs it. We treat accuracy as non-negotiable.
Does My Amaal issue rulings or fatwas?
No. It's a personal companion and reminder, not a ruling engine. For detailed rulings or personal circumstances, please consult qualified scholars you trust.
